The youngest team of Smart Village Knežica, pupils of elementary school in Knežica, win a gold medal at the 25th international exhibition of ideas, innovations and creativity “INOST MLADIH 2023”.
The idea refers to the design of a new type of greenhouse combining elements of energy efficiency, renewable energy sources and automation. It is known that conventional greenhouses are very inefficient from the point of view of energy efficiency. Our team, with the support of senior mentors, wants to offer a completely new concept of growing plants indoors, aiming to achieve savings of at least 20% of energy costs.
